Retreat for Health Care Workers
The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco, in cooperation with the Network of the Ecumenical Patriarchate for Pastoral Health Care is organizing a retreat for Orthodox Christian health care workers. The theme of the retreat will be “Hope for the Care-giver”. It will take place on Saturday March 30th and will be hosted by the parish of the Holy Cross in Belmont, California. Those speaking will be:
- His Grace, Maxim, Bishop of the Serbian Churches in Western America
- Rev. Dr. Stavros Kofinas, Coordinator of the Network of the Ecumenical Patriarchate for Pastoral Health Care
- Dr. Tania Spirtos, Gynocologist – Clinical Faculty of Sanford University School of Medicine
- Kristen Azar, R.N
This is the first such retreat that is being organized by a Metropolis of the Throne in cooperation with the Patriarchal Network. The Patriarchal Network hopes that such events will be organized by other Metropolises in the future.
