Steadfast Patience  

The Blessed Petros of Damascus says that “patience is like an immovable stone against the winds and waves of life. And whoever possesses it neither weakens or turns back in times of hardship nor becomes arrogant in moments of peace and joy; but remains the same in both prosperity and adversity”. Such patience is the fruit of persistent and unfailing prayer.
