Totally bewildered, I cry out to you in anguish![1]

When we become bewildered by events and situations that challenge our entire being, we cry out to God in anguish asking for salvation. In doing so, we should know that the entire creation is groaning and is in agony with us. Not only. When we do not know what to pray for or even how to pray, the Holy Spirit intercedes for our salvation to the Father on our behalf with groaning, in a way that we cannot comprehend or express in words. God knows what is in our heart and what our intentions are. Thus, the Holy Spirit comes to us in our weakness, providing hope by its presence. This is our hope and we wait in patience and perseverance for the Spirit’s intercession. For we know that God does everything so that all will work together for the good, so that all of God’s children will be freed from death and decay.[2]
